Magnetic drive pumps

Product line

Made of high quality plastic materials resistant to the majority of corrosive liquids
 Suitable for continuous duty
Suitable for under-head (MC–MCA-MCH-THP-MST Series) or over-head applications (AD-AM Series).
Suitable for areas with potentially explosive atmospheres – ATEX
(some models MCA Series)
The pump head is manufactured with few components, for an easier maintenance.

They are successfully suitable for working in
DISTRIBUTION, TRANSFER, FILTERING, WASHING, SUCTION

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

The operation of the pump is leaded by a couple of magnets: the outer magnet placed on the drive shaft transmits the rotation to the inner magnet which, being integrated with the impeller, enables the liquid to circulate. The impeller of the pump rotates on its ceramic shaft inside the impeller housing resulting hermetically insulated; seals are therefore eliminated since the impeller isn’t physically fixed to the motor shaft. Thus in the magnetic drive pumps can’t be any leakages of the pumped liquid, which are usually due to the wear and tear, and therefore the advantage is that they can be used to pump corrosive or dangerous liquids too with a great safeness, either for the operator or for the ambient.
The inner rotating parts of the magnetic drive pumps are lubricated and cooled by the pumped liquid, thus the dry running must be avoid

MODELS CERTIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ATEX NORMATIVE

ATEX CERTIFICATION Directive 94/9/EC

The ATEX certified models are produced specifically with non-conductive plastic material and are suitable for areas with potentially explosive atmospheres where the following identification marking is required:

 II 2 G ckb II C T4 to T6

The technical brochure which prove the conformity
to Directive ATEX 94/9/EC is registered at
